FICCI articulates the views and concerns of industry through influencing policy, encouraging debate and engaging with policy makers and civil society. FICCI provides a platform for networking and consensus building within and across sectors, guided by 76 sectoral committees.
The FICCI Start-up Committee actively advocates for policy reforms with a vision to further strengthen India’s thriving start-up ecosystem. It comprises of stalwarts from academia, industry, government and the wider start-up ecosystem; who bring their knowledge, expertise and experience to the table.
The Committee regularly makes representations and recommendations to the Government of India’s various departments, including but not limited to DPIIT and DST, on concerns and expectations of the Indian Start-ups as well as policy measures for consideration during the budget sessions and otherwise.
The Committee’s aim is to support an enabling environment to the Indian start-up ecosystem to thrive and scale within the country and also globally.
